Overview
Automatically Set Your Tab Groups!
Automatically moves tabs to tab groups based on your configured rules. Ignore rules are supported. Rules can be exported as a backup and re-imported later. Auto-Groups (! prefix) Groups with names starting with ! are smart, automated groups that actively manage tabs based on URL patterns: - Automatic Grouping: Tabs automatically join these groups when their URLs match the defined rules - Dynamic Management: Tabs are removed from these groups when their URLs no longer match the rules - Rule Priority: If multiple auto-groups match a URL, the most specific rule takes precedence Cross-Group Movement: Tabs from any group (including manual groups) will be moved to matching auto-groups - Include/Exclude Rules: Support both inclusion patterns and exclusion patterns (prefixed with !) Manual Groups (No ! prefix) Groups without the ! prefix are static, manual groups for traditional tab organization: - Static Organization: Tabs remain in these groups until manually moved by you - No Automation: The extension never automatically moves tabs in or out of these groups - Override Behavior: Tabs can still be moved out of manual groups if they match auto-group rules Pure Manual Control: Ideal for permanent collections that don't follow URL patterns - Backup/Archive Use: Perfect for maintaining stable tab collections that serve as backups or archives Interaction Between Group Types - Auto-groups (!) take precedence over manual groups - Manual groups serve as "safe zones" only when no auto-group rules apply - Mix both types for hybrid organization: automated grouping with manual overrides
