Auto Speed Per Channel remembers your preferred playback speed for each YouTube channel and applies it automatically the moment a video starts. Some creators you want at 2x, others at 1x — and re-setting the speed on every video gets old fast. With Auto Speed Per Channel you choose a speed for a channel once, and every future video from that channel plays at your pace. Set a global default for everything else and you never have to touch the speed menu again. WHAT IT DOES • Save a different playback speed for each YouTube channel — unlimited channels, free. • Applies your speed automatically as soon as the video loads. • A global default for channels you haven't set (or "off" to leave them untouched). • Quick presets from 0.25x to 4x, plus a custom value. • A simple popup to set the current channel's speed, and a manage page to view, search, edit and remove all your saved speeds. • Optional handling for Shorts. RESPECTS YOU AND YOUR VIDEOS • Never speeds up ads — they always play at normal speed. • Re-applies your speed after YouTube's own resets (new videos, quality changes, after ads), but never fights a change you make yourself in YouTube's menu — including choosing Normal (1x). • No overlays that block the player, no keyboard-shortcut hijacking, and no accounts. PRIVACY FIRST • This extension does not collect any user data. • No analytics, no trackers, no external servers, and no remote code. • Your channel speeds are stored in your browser and, if Chrome Sync is on, synced through your own Google account — never sent to us. • It runs only on YouTube and requests the minimum permissions needed. HOW TO USE 1. Open any YouTube video. 2. Click the Auto Speed Per Channel icon. 3. Pick a speed — it's saved for that channel and applied automatically from then on.
