Simple Autoscroll lets a long document move while your hands stay free. Set a comfortable pace and press Start to auto scroll down an article, keeping your attention on the words instead of the mouse wheel. The popup closes when movement begins, leaving the content in view. You can follow guitar tabs with both hands on the instrument, keep chords and lyrics moving during practice, or use hands-free recipe reading while cooking. For a speech, let a script pass across the screen as you rehearse. The extension moves existing content rather than creating a separate presentation. ⚙️ WHAT YOU GET • Choose a speed from 1 to 100 with finer adjustment at the slow end. A moving preview helps you judge the motion before you begin. • Continue inside a web app's scrollable panel when the document itself stays fixed; the extension chooses a visible panel to move. • Pause briefly at the bottom of an infinite feed to allow more items to load. Movement continues if content arrives, otherwise it stops. • See a small play badge on the toolbar icon while the current tab is moving. 🔧 HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the page you want to follow. 2. Click the toolbar icon and adjust the speed slider. 3. Press Start, or use Alt+Shift+Down to begin with the saved pace. 4. Press Esc on the document or use the keyboard shortcut again to stop. Your last setting is remembered on this device. Open the popup to pause from its control, and click the displayed shortcut if you want to change the assigned keys. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW Can I scroll down automatically while taking notes? Yes. Begin at a slow pace and stop whenever you need time to write. It does not match movement to your voice or detect when you finish a paragraph. Will it work in an already open tab? It prepares ordinary websites when you first start, without requiring a refresh. Movement is downward only. Protected internal pages, the extension store and the built-in PDF viewer are unavailable. 🔒 PRIVACY No account is required. The extension stores your chosen pace locally and checks dimensions and position to decide what to move. It does not upload the document or need to read its words. Tab access lets your chosen control start and stop movement where you are working.
