Automatically retries failed or interrupted Chrome downloads until they finish successfully.
Auto Retry Downloads is a Chrome extension that makes downloads more reliable by automatically retrying failed or interrupted files. If your connection drops, your laptop sleeps, or a server temporarily fails, the extension detects the error and starts the download again, up to a safe limit. Normally, when a Chrome download fails, you have to manually click “Resume” or restart from the beginning. With Auto Retry Downloads, the background script listens to Chrome download events. When a download ends with an error, the extension waits a short delay and then retries it. This continues until the file succeeds or the maximum number of retries is reached. Turn auto retry on or off from the popup. Your preference is stored in Chrome sync storage so it is remembered across browser restarts and on other devices where you use the same account.
