Auto Page Refresh
Overview
Auto Page Refresh for Chrome: refresh tabs at fixed or random intervals, pause timers, bypass cache and set refresh limits.
Auto Page Refresh keeps selected Chrome tabs updating at an interval you choose. Skip repeated clicks on Reload while checking a dashboard, a status page or a work queue. This auto refresh extension gives each tab its own timer, with simple controls in the toolbar popup. Get started in three steps 1. Open a regular HTTP or HTTPS website and open Auto Page Refresh. 2. Choose an interval or use a preset: 5, 10 or 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5 minutes. 3. Select Start refreshing. The first reload happens after a full interval. Use auto page refresh for Chrome when a page needs regular reloads during your work. Close the popup and this auto reload extension continues its timer. Open it again to see the countdown and manage your active tabs. The interface is currently in English. Choose how your page refresher runs 1️⃣ Fixed intervals: set automatic page refresh from 5 seconds to 24 hours, in whole seconds. Enter seconds, minutes or hours to match the task. 2️⃣ Random intervals: choose minimum and maximum values. Auto Page Refresh for Chrome picks a new delay within that range for each cycle. 3️⃣ Refresh limits: let this automatic page refresher stop after 1 to 10,000 reload requests, or leave the limit empty to continue until you stop the timer. Keep control of every tab • Pause a timer and keep its remaining time. Resume when you are ready. • Stop auto reload on one tab, or use Stop all to clear all refresh jobs. • View active tabs together and switch to a page from the popup. • Run a different interval on each selected tab. • Follow the system's light or dark appearance. Auto Page Refresh makes a useful tab reloader for pages you revisit throughout the day. Choose short intervals for temporary checks, or longer intervals for pages that change less often. Set up auto page refresh for Chrome on each tab you want to reload; unrelated tabs do not get a timer. Auto page refresh for Chrome with cache bypass The Auto Page Refresh Chrome extension includes an option to refresh without cache for the target page. Enable it when you want Chrome to request a fresh copy during a reload. This page refresh extension does not clear the browser's entire cache or change other tabs' settings. Everyday uses Use Auto Page Refresh to reload a reporting page while you work elsewhere, revisit a project status view, or keep a regularly updated queue ready to inspect. A page refresher also helps during manual checks of a website you maintain. Choose an interval appropriate for the page and the work. The auto page refresh Chrome extension reloads pages; it does not inspect page content or detect changes. There are no keyword alerts or automatic clicks. If you need to see whether something changed, return to the page yourself. This keeps auto refresh focused on the reload task you selected. Pause, review and continue Auto Page Refresh lets you pause before reading or interacting with a page. Resume to continue from the remaining countdown, or stop the timer to change its settings. Use auto page refresh for Chrome with a refresh limit when a task only needs a set number of cycles. The counter records successful Chrome reload requests, not successful responses from a website. Local settings and clear permissions Auto Page Refresh runs on your device without an account or application server. Timer settings are stored locally; active tab details and timer state stay in Chrome's session storage. The extension has no analytics or advertising SDK and does not send those details to its developer. This auto refresh extension uses tabs to identify and manage selected pages, storage for settings, and alarms for scheduled work. It does not read page content, forms, passwords or cookies. Normal website requests still happen whenever Chrome reloads a page. How timers behave Auto Page Refresh keeps running after the popup closes. Navigation within the same origin keeps the timer; moving to a different origin, including a different subdomain, stops it. Chrome internal pages, local files and the Chrome Web Store are not supported by this tab reloader. Chrome or the operating system may delay auto refresh while the device sleeps or a page is loading. Short intervals can also be delayed if Chrome stops the background process. The extension does not keep your computer awake or promise exact timing. After a full browser restart, start your timers again; the latest settings remain saved. Open Auto Page Refresh, choose a tab and set your pace. Use a page refresher with a fixed interval for routine checks, or a random interval for a varying delay. Pause, resume and stop automatic page refresh whenever your task changes.
