This easter egg is fantastic!!! I installed the extension to solve one problem and ended up solving 2!

Exactly what I wanted! Just a couple of minor issues/bugs, however... -I need to toggle the extension everytime I restart Chrome/Windows to get it working again. -Keyboard shortcuts don't seem to work on Windows as it doesn't have the cmd key. Ctrl doesn't work either. EDIT - Reply: The toggle I mentioned refers to enabling/disabling the extension itself. What I found was, whenever Chrome/Windows is closed/shutdown, the extension has to be disabled then re-enabled in order to work upon star... Show more

My only complaint is the icon is too dark I only see a space where it should be.

Would be even better if, when I switch to a tab that is NOT playing audio, that it muted the tab that WAS playing audio. When I switch to a tab that is not playing audio, I don't want to hear anything. Like "Mute all inactive tabs" works in Firefox. Thanks,

Lat updated in 2015, yet is the best and only extension that auotmaitically mutes/unmutes as sound starts/stops on most recent tab. What this does that other don't is unmutes the most recent tab when you pause or mute the current tab. This is nice, because when you're done for example watching a tutorial video in current tab, the most recent background tab (maybe your music) unmutes when you're done with the tutorial. Back to tunes. No need to go unmute your music manually.

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, right now I'm watching YouTube but the audio is from an inactive tab, the last update was 2015! I'll have to find something current.

for a tab to become new, it has to be reloaded or the old "new" closed, which isnt always desired. Also, it would make a lot more sense to pause the inactive stream(s).
