Auto Admit for Google Meet™
Overview
Automatically admit join requests in Google Meet™ and set entry microphone/camera defaults.
Auto Admit for Google Meet™ helps meeting hosts and co-hosts approve waiting participants faster. When enabled, the extension runs only on `https://meet.google.com/*`. It watches the current meeting page for visible admit controls, including bulk admit controls, and clicks matching admit buttons automatically. The popup also lets you choose whether your microphone and camera should be on or off when you enter a meeting. These preferences are applied only during the meeting entry flow and are not continuously enforced after you are already in the meeting. What it does: - Automatically clicks visible admit controls for Google Meet™ join requests. - Supports individual and bulk admit controls when they are shown by Google Meet™. - Lets you choose entry microphone and camera defaults. - Stores settings locally in Chrome. What it does not do: - Does not bypass Google Meet™ host controls, waiting room rules, Quick Access settings, Workspace policies, or account-level restrictions. - Does not admit participants unless the current signed-in account already has permission to admit them. - Does not request Chrome camera or microphone permission. - Does not change Chrome site permissions. - Does not send meeting data, participant data, settings, or diagnostics to external servers.
