Overview
Secure local TOTP authenticator with Login Copilot, encrypted vault, team sync, and optional breach monitoring.
Authium is a secure local TOTP / 2FA authenticator for Chrome. Generate time-based one-time passwords offline, store secrets in an encrypted vault on your device, and sign in faster on the sites you use every day. CORE FEATURES (FREE) • Generate 6–8 digit TOTP codes — works fully offline • Encrypted vault with master password or device key unlock • Add accounts manually or by scanning a QR code • Copy codes with one click • Countdown timer shows when each code refreshes • Multiple accounts with tags and search • Light and dark themes PREMIUM FEATURES (Authium Pro / Team) • Login Copilot — floating OTP chip on login and 2FA pages while your vault is unlocked • OTP autofill on the current tab (optional, user-granted permission only) • Scan QR codes directly from any browser tab • Smart account suggestions based on the site you’re on • Command palette for quick actions (Ctrl+K) • Developer Secrets Vault — store API keys, tokens, and credentials encrypted locally • Optional encrypted cloud sync via Authium account • Authium Shield (beta) — optional breach and leak monitoring with alerts • Team Vault for shared organization accounts (Team plan) • Premium theme templates SECURITY & PRIVACY • Secrets are encrypted locally before storage — Authium never sees your TOTP seeds in plaintext • Core authentication works without an account and without internet • Optional site access is requested only when you enable autofill or Login Copilot — never in the background without your consent • Revoke site access anytime from Settings with one click • No browsing history is collected or sold • Tab URL/title is used locally only for smart suggestions and Login Copilot matching • Premium sign-in uses Google OAuth via Supabase; optional cloud sync stores only encrypted vault data • Shield scans use only emails and prefixes you choose — never your TOTP secrets • Enterprise administrators can enforce policies via managed storage (Chrome/Edge) HOW LOGIN COPILOT WORKS When Premium is enabled and your vault is unlocked, Authium shows a small floating chip on login and two-factor pages with your matching OTP code and a Fill button. Dismiss the chip anytime, or revoke site access in Settings. HOW AUTHIUM SHIELD WORKS (OPTIONAL, PRO) Enable Shield in Settings to monitor saved emails and credential prefixes for known breaches and public leaks. Run scans on demand or automatically once per day. Get in-extension alerts when new exposures are found. Shield is off by default. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED • Storage — save your encrypted vault and settings locally • Identity — sign in to Authium Premium with Google • Alarms — optional daily Shield background scans (user-enabled) • Notifications — optional Shield breach alerts (user-enabled) • Supabase hosts — account login and optional encrypted sync only • Optional scripting / tab access — only if you enable autofill or Login Copilot Authium is built for people who want a fast, private authenticator inside the browser — without sending their secrets to the cloud unless they choose to.
