Overview

Auto-closes finished authentication tabs ("Login successful — you can close this window").

Signing in to a command-line tool or desktop app through your browser often leaves behind a tab that just says "Login successful — you can close this window." Auth Tab Closer closes those tabs for you. How it works • Detects pages that say the sign-in is finished and the tab can be closed. • Closes the tab after a short delay and shows a notification with a Reopen button. • The "Close auth tabs now" button in the popup clears every finished sign-in tab that is already open. • Recently closed tabs are listed in the popup so you can reopen any of them. Safety • Never closes pinned tabs. • Won't close the last tab in a window unless you allow it. • Pages that only say something like "success" are closed only when they are nearly empty and were just opened. • Block or allow specific sites, change the delay, and add your own phrases in Options.
