AuraTab is a clean, glassmorphic new tab page designed to help you stay focused and organized. It replaces Chrome’s default page with a customizable dashboard containing a Pomodoro timer, daily task list, scratchpad, custom shortcuts, Google app launcher and weather updates. Everything runs locally in your browser, keeping your data private and your load times instant. Custom Themes & Color Picker Choose from four preset themes (Amber Sunrise, Forest Mist, Cyberpunk, and Aurora Borealis) or pick a custom accent color using the built-in color wheel. You can also upload your own wallpaper, adjust the background blur, and change the dashboard font to match your style. Markdown Scratchpad A quick-access scratchpad to write down notes, links, or draft lists. Click "Preview" to automatically render your markdown text, including headers, bold styling, bullet points, and interactive checkboxes. Focus Mode & Pomodoro Use the built-in Pomodoro timer to manage your work blocks. If you need a completely distraction-free screen, turn on Focus Mode to hide all widgets and focus entirely on the clock. Search Bar & Shortcuts Search using Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, YouTube, or GitHub via a clean toggle menu. Save your most-visited websites in the shortcuts grid for easy access, and launch Google developer and AI tools directly from the waffle menu. Custom Weather Get current weather updates using your IP location, search for a specific city, or set precise latitude and longitude coordinates. Privacy & Performance No Tracking: AuraTab does not use cookies, trackers, or external APIs that collect your data. Your settings, notes, and tasks are saved directly to your local browser storage. Manifest V3 Compliant: Built strictly with modern extensions guidelines, meaning no remote code execution and a lightweight footprint that won't slow down your browser.
