Overview
Secure audio and text assessment player for managed Chromebooks
Teachers create an assessment, either by uploading an MP3 or pasting plain text, and get a short access code to hand to the student. The student enters the code into the Chrome extension on their Chromebook. A fullscreen, locked player opens: audio assessments play back with standard controls, and text assessments display the passage with built-in read-aloud, adjustable font size, and paragraph navigation. When the assessment is done, the teacher reads an exit word aloud, the student types it in, the player closes, and the Chromebook returns to normal.
