Overview
Allows you to change the audio output device for tabs.
Audio Selector lets you send each browser tab’s sound to whatever device you choose, so you can play music through your speakers and keep Google Meet in your headphones or send it to a transcription tool like Krisp. You can use keyboard shortcuts: - to change the audio device for the current tab (default - Ctrl+Alt+A); - to switch to the next Google Meet tab (default - Ctrl+Shift+G); - to mute or unmute your mic in the active Meet tab without switching to it (do it anywhere) (default - Alt+Shift+G); - to mute or unmute your camera in the active Meet tab without switching to it; - to join meet (if only one opened) without switching to it. All shortcuts can be chaned in th settings. Currently supports only Google Meet. In options you can set URL patterns to automatically switch audio devices. But, browser not allow to request "speaker-selection" permission directly and has different deviceId for same devices in different tabs, this cause this feature can sometimes ask you to pick a device (especially after reload/close/open). To obtain device selection rights, access to the microphone will be requested. Unfortunately, this is currently the only way to obtain these rights, the microphone itself will not be used by the application in any way. All code is open source at https://github.com/OlexandrI/AudioSelector. Icons by @Krystyna Puzich — many thanks for the design :)
