Audio Cable turns your browser into a real-time virtual microphone mixer. It creates Audio Cable Virtual Mic, a selectable microphone input that works inside web-based communication tools such as Google Meet, Zoom, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Whereby, and other apps that use your browser microphone. Once selected, the virtual mic sends a live mix of your real microphone and any audio clips you choose to play. How it works Audio Cable adds a virtual microphone option to websites that request microphone access. When a web app selects the virtual mic, Audio Cable provides a live mixed audio stream containing your selected physical microphone plus any audio assets currently playing. These systems can sometimes reduce or filter music, effects, or other non-voice audio. For best results, disable noise suppression or background noise removal in the meeting app when you want non-voice sounds to pass through clearly.
