Audio Analyzer

Adds an Analyze button to audio/video for instant loudness, noise, reverb, and spectrogram QC -- per-site opt-in.

Audio Analyzer adds an in-page "Analyze" button to playable audio and video on any website. Click it, and the clip is sent to your audio-analyzer QC backend for instant feedback — without leaving the page. WHAT IT CHECKS - Loudness (integrated LUFS, true peak, loudness range) - Noise floor and mains hum (50/60Hz detection) - Reverb (heuristic RT60-style estimate) - Noise gate / processing artifacts - A log-frequency spectrogram of the full clip HOW IT WORKS A small button appears over any <audio> or <video> element the extension finds on a page, including custom players that hide the native player controls. Clicking it captures that specific clip -- directly for locally created (blob:) recordings, or via a background fetch for hosted files, even when the hosting server doesn't send CORS headers -- and shows the report right there in a popup on the page. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO - It does not scan, record, or transmit anything other than the exact clip you click "Analyze" on. - It does not work on live streams (HLS/DASH) or DRM-protected media. - It does not inject ads, track browsing history, or modify page content beyond adding the analyze button and its result popup.
