Overview

Keyboard shortcuts for the Audible web player: play, skip, speed, chapters, bookmarks. Screen-reader friendly.

Audible Keys gives you clean, simple keyboard shortcuts for Audible's web player, so you can control your audiobook without reaching for the on-screen buttons. It works for everyone, including with screen readers. While the Audible player tab is open you can: • Play and pause with P • Skip back and forward 30 seconds with the Left and Right arrows • Change the volume with the Up and Down arrows • Move between chapters with Page Up and Page Down • Speed up, slow down, and reset to normal speed • Add a bookmark, and open your bookmarks and chapters lists It also remembers the speed you set for each book and brings it back next time you open it — something the Audible website otherwise forgets. If you like, you can set a few of these to work even when Chrome isn't the window you're using, so you can pause or skip while you're busy with something else. A built-in help page walks you through it, and every shortcut can be changed to the key you prefer. Nothing is collected or sent anywhere — your settings stay on your own computer. This is an independent, unofficial tool. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Audible or Amazon. "Audible" is used only to indicate which website the shortcuts are for.
