Overview

Write it your way — Attune tunes it to the person reading it, and reads the tone of what they send you. It never sends anything.

Attune takes what you want to say and tunes it to the person who will read it — then shows you, before you send, how each version is likely to be read. Before you send: select your draft (or write from a goal), and see how it lands on a cold read — tone as perceived, likely reaction, plausible misreadings, questions left open — for the specific person who will read it. Compare that against what you meant, adjust, then copy and send it yourself. The tool never sends anything. When you receive: select a message that's hard to read and ask "how should I read this?" — you get the most plausible intent, tone disambiguation (terse is not angry), alternative readings ranked, an honest statement of uncertainty, and a clarifying question you could ask instead of guessing. In Gmail, invoking Attune pre-fills who you're writing to and the message you're answering, and one click inserts your chosen option into the compose box — or replaces the draft it re-rendered (your signature and the quoted thread stay put; Ctrl+Z restores the old draft). You still press send yourself, always. Saved channels learn: each recipient you save accumulates what the tool learned about that relationship — predicted tones, and whether messages actually landed as predicted (checked automatically against the reply when it comes back through the tool). Every later check on that channel uses it. Your messages themselves are never stored. Built for anyone whose stakes ride on being read correctly: non-native professionals, cross-cultural teams, and everyone who has reread a two-word reply five times. Predictions are priors, not verdicts. An invite code is required during the field trial.
