Attribute Scanner helps QA engineers and developers quickly identify elements with or without test automation attributes on any webpage. Perfect for: • Cypress testing (data-cy) • Playwright/Testing Library (data-testid) • Custom QA frameworks (data-qa, data-test, etc.) Features: ✅ Find elements WITH an attribute - Highlights all elements that have your specified attribute with a green outline ❌ Find elements MISSING an attribute - Highlights interactive elements (buttons, links, inputs, etc.) that are missing test attributes with a red outline - perfect for finding gaps in test coverage 🎯 Customizable - Works with any attribute name: data-cy, data-testid, data-qa, or your own custom attributes 🧹 Clean up - Clear all highlights with one click How to use: 1. Click the extension icon 2. Enter the attribute name (default: data-cy) 3. Choose to scan for elements WITH or MISSING the attribute 4. Click "Scan Page" to highlight matching elements Privacy-focused: Minimal permissions required. Only accesses the current tab when you click scan. No data collection.
