Attha helps you read webpages and videos across languages using on-device translation. • Read original paragraphs alongside their translations. • Select text to translate it from the page or the right-click menu. • Add Simplified Chinese pinyin, Traditional Chinese bopomofo, and Japanese furigana reading annotations. • Display original and translated video captions when supported captions are available, including on YouTube and Bilibili. • Keep captions visible in a floating window where the browser supports it. Translation uses Google Chrome’s built-in on-device translation engine. No API key or account is required for the extension. Language models may need to be downloaded before first use; availability depends on your browser, device, and language pair. Chrome 138 or later is required. Page text and translations are processed on your device. The extension reads page content to provide translation and caption features and stores your preferences locally.
