Attentify Element Blocker
Overview
Keep the useful web, lose the bait. Removes feeds, Shorts and rage bait, reads each page in context, explains every call.
Attentify removes the parts of a page that are engineered to take your attention, and leaves the parts you came for. Most blockers work on whole sites. You block reddit.com, then you need it for work, so you unblock it, and the feed takes your afternoon. The domain was never the right unit. Attentify works on elements instead. It reads each page in context against the goal you gave it, strips the infinite feed, the Shorts and Reels shelves, the recommendation rails and the rage bait, and leaves the article, the thread, the documentation and the results you were actually looking for. HOW IT WORKS Tell it your goal in plain language. Something like "I am researching React hooks this afternoon." That is the whole setup. From then on it reads each page you open and decides what belongs. The same site can be fine or off limits depending on what you are doing on it. A specific YouTube video you chose is not the same thing as the Shorts shelf underneath it. A subreddit you searched for is not the same thing as the home feed. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT Searches are never blocked outright. Blocking a search is how a blocker makes itself useless. A search that is off your goal raises the scrutiny on what you click next instead. It shows its work. Every call comes with the reasoning behind it: what it saw on the page, which signals counted, and how confident it was. Open the Logic panel and read it. It learns from being wrong. Restore something it hid and it stops hiding it. Correct it twice and the correction is permanent. It will not nag you about the same thing again. It needs corroboration before it acts. An ambiguous page needs more than one signal before anything gets hidden, so it errs toward leaving your page alone. ALSO INCLUDED Block by keyword, so you can ban the specific things that hook you by name, including by video title. A focus mode that tightens the filtering while a session runs. Your own analytics: where your attention actually went, by site, by category and by day, built from your own data. An AI assistant in the side panel that can change any rule for you in plain language. A real light theme, not a dark theme with the colors flipped. PRIVACY Your browsing history is not uploaded. The detailed record of what you visit is built and kept inside your own browser. When an AI feature runs, the current page's address and title are sent to our servers to be classified, and on to our model provider. Nothing else goes with it. This is described in full in the privacy policy linked below. Blocking, keyword rules and your statistics all work without an account. An account is only needed for the AI features. PRICING Blocking is free and stays free. You only pay for the AI, either from a credit balance or an unlimited plan. Attentify also has a Windows desktop app that extends this across every application, not just your browser. It is currently in beta and is entirely optional. The extension is a complete product on its own.
