Attendzy

Runs your live Attendzy activities on their slides in Google's own Slideshow, with the Attendzy add-on for Google Slides.

Attendzy runs your Attendzy activities live on their slides while you present in Google Slides' own Slideshow. Add a poll, quiz, attendance check-in or flashcards with the Attendzy add-on for Google Slides, then present your deck the way you always do. When you reach an Attendzy slide, the extension shows that slide's live activity right on the slide. Students scan the QR code with their phones, and their phones follow along as you move through your slides. WHAT IT DOES • Live polls: students vote from their phones and the results update on screen. • Quizzes: question, answer and leaderboard slides follow your clicker, and so do your students' phones. • Attendance check-ins and flashcards run the same way. • Google's Slideshow keeps working as usual: animations, transitions, videos, speaker notes and presenter view. • Your presentation clicker keeps working. Live slides ignore the mouse unless you click "Interact", so you can use a button on the live page. HOW TO USE IT 1. Install the Attendzy add-on for Google Slides and sign in to your Attendzy account (free accounts work). 2. Open the Attendzy panel once in Google Slides. This connects the extension. The extension's toolbar button shows "Connected to https://app.attendzy.com". 3. Present your deck with Slideshow. Attendzy slides go live automatically. PRIVACY The extension runs only on Google Slides presentations and on Attendzy's own pages. It stores one Attendzy access token in your browser. The token can only look up which of your slides are live and report which slide is on screen, and it expires after 90 days. When you present, the extension sends Attendzy the presentation's ID and any Attendzy slide links on it. Only for a deck that has live Attendzy slides does it report the slide on screen. It never sends your slide content, your browsing history or anything from other websites, and it collects nothing from students.
