Drag a region of your screen straight into your Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini chat. No saving, no upload dialog.

Attacho puts a screenshot into your AI chat in one step. Press Alt+Shift+A or click the toolbar icon, drag a rectangle over any part of the page, and Attacho attaches the image to your open chat box. No file is saved and no upload dialog opens. Attach works on claude.ai, chatgpt.com (including chat.openai.com), and gemini.google.com. How it works • Drag to select a region of the current tab. A live size readout and corner handles help you fit the crop, and Esc cancels • Or capture a whole screen or window using Chrome's own picker, then crop it in place • Attacho attaches the image to the chat box if you're already in a supported chat, or finds an open chat tab and can jump to it • If no chat is open, a short chooser lets you open one with the image ready, or copy it to the clipboard instead • If a chat box refuses the file, the image goes to your clipboard so you can paste it yourself • Small crops are enlarged automatically so chats don't reject them as too low-resolution • A toast and a toolbar badge tell you when a capture fails, so errors are never silent • Settings let you choose the capture source, your preferred chat, what happens when no chat is open, a success confirmation, an optional shutter sound, and whether to jump to the chat tab • Change the shortcut any time at chrome://extensions/shortcuts Capture works on regular web pages. Chrome doesn't allow extensions on its own pages, such as chrome:// pages or the Web Store, and the popup tells you when that applies. Privacy Attacho keeps no capture history and has no library. A screenshot exists only in your browser's memory while it is handed off, and it is delivered to the chat you choose. Your settings are saved in Chrome and are carried between your signed-in browsers if you use Chrome Sync. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Attacho does not read page text, forms, or passwords. Attacho is an independent extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google.
