Family rules: tells the Atlas program on this computer which site is open, and keeps sites blocked by a parent closed.

Atlas is a family app that helps children balance screen time and schoolwork. This extension is the browser part of Atlas and only works together with the Atlas program for Windows (atlas.idetechnologys.com). What it does: • Keeps sites and categories a parent blocked closed (for example gambling and adult sites), and limits time-limited sites • Shows a friendly page explaining why a site is closed, with a button to ask the parent for permission or 10 more minutes • Turns on safe search on Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo and YouTube • Tells the Atlas program on this computer which site is open — only the site name (e.g. youtube.com) and for how long What it never does: • No full web addresses, page contents, forms, passwords or messages • No screenshots • No ads, no data selling The parent sets the rules in the Atlas parent panel.
