AskBetter helps you write better prompts and cleaner text — directly where you already work, without switching tabs. Two modes: Ask Better — adds an Optimize button inside ChatGPT, Claude and Google Gemini (or press Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+O). It rewrites your current prompt using your selected preset and provider, then shows it in a non-destructive preview you can edit, compare, refine, and accept — your original is never overwritten until you say so. Phrase Better — right-click any selected text on the web to rephrase it. By default it fixes grammar, spelling, and punctuation while keeping your original wording and tone. You can also pick a preset — rephrase, casual reply, or formal message — and stack optional adjustments like keep my voice, humanize, polish wording, or add a little wit.
