Overview
Send pages and selected text to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Grok from the right-click menu.
Ask This Page is a tiny handoff utility. Right-click any web page, or a text selection, and send it straight to the AI chat you already use: ChatGPT, Gemini (Google AI Mode), Claude, or Grok. It hands the page off as a ready-to-ask prompt, with no copy-paste and no new sidebar to learn. How it works 1. Right-click a page (or select text first). 2. Open the "Ask This Page" submenu and pick your AI. 3. Your AI opens in a new tab with a short prompt prefilled: the page title, the page URL, and, if you selected text, that selection. What it sends Ask This Page sends the page title, URL, and any text you select to the AI target you choose, and for Gemini, into Google Search (AI Mode), where it is governed by that target's own privacy policy. It does not read or scrape page content on its own; only the title, URL, and the text you deliberately select are used. Private by design - No backend server. No analytics. No tracking. No account. - No ads and no affiliate routing. - Only two permissions: contextMenus (the menu) and activeTab (read the page title). - Open source: https://github.com/aydgn/ask-this-page Works with ChatGPT, Gemini (Google AI Mode), Claude, and Grok.
