ASAP AI — Chat & Research

Chat with ASAP AI and research pages. No API key needed for ASAP cloud chat. Optional local and personal API connections.

ASAP AI brings focused chat and reading tools into Chrome's sidebar. Start a short conversation with ASAP AI without entering an API key or installing a local model. Hosted ASAP AI sends your messages through ASAP Studio's service on Cloudflare to Groq, running GPT-OSS 20B. Existing users can start a new chat and select ASAP AI in the model picker. Existing saved connections remain unchanged. For research, preview a webpage excerpt or selected text, edit what you want to share, then attach it and press Send. Ask for a summary, explanation, or comparison of approved sources. Source links help you return to the originals. Open Bing separately when you want a web search; the assistant does not automatically browse or crawl websites. Save, search, rename, and export conversations in a dark blue, black, and white interface. Hosted chat has a limit of up to 20 attempts per installation per UTC day and shared capacity limits. It supports short context and concise replies. Busy periods, errors, and canceled attempts can reduce available capacity. Optional advanced connections support ASAP Local with Ollama, plus OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and Grok with your own API credentials. Those services have separate setup and billing. Saved chats and optionally remembered API keys are encrypted locally. Browser-profile access can defeat this protection. Review the privacy policy before sending sensitive information. ASAP AI is an independent ASAP Studio extension. PDFs and restricted browser pages cannot be attached. There are no coding projects or automated account actions.
