arXiv Version Watch tells you when a paper you follow gets a new version — no more manual re-checking. Add any arXiv paper by its ID or URL. The extension quietly polls the public arXiv API on a light schedule and shows a desktop notification after v2, v3, or later is posted, so you always read the latest revision. WHAT IT DOES • Track any number of arXiv papers by ID or link • Desktop notification after a new version appears • See current version and last-checked time at a glance • Lightweight background checks — no constant polling PRIVATE BY DESIGN • 100% local — your watch list never leaves your browser • No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking • Talks only to the public arXiv API to read version numbers HOW TO USE 1. Open the popup and paste an arXiv ID or URL 2. Keep working — you'll get a notification after a new version lands 3.
