Save arXiv papers as Markdown in one click: math, tables and references kept, PDFs named by title.

arXiv to Markdown adds a button to arXiv paper pages and saves the paper as Markdown you can drop into Obsidian, Notion or Logseq, or hand to an AI assistant. Features • One-click Markdown: official arXiv HTML first, then ar5iv, then the PDF • Keeps LaTeX math, tables, sections and footnotes; citations link to the references • Optional YAML metadata: title, arXiv ID, authors, year • PDFs named by title, e.g. "Attention Is All You Need (2017).pdf" • Copy BibTeX or Markdown in one click • Optional PDF parsing with your own API key: the PDF is parsed in the background by the provider you choose, PaddleOCR (default) or MinerU; progress shows in the popup • Page buttons, toolbar popup, context menu, Alt+Shift+M shortcut, floating button on PDF pages • Chinese and English UI, light and dark themes Requires Chrome 121+. Privacy No backend, no analytics. Standard mode converts locally in your browser and only talks to arXiv and ar5iv. Data goes to the one parsing provider you selected (a third-party service under its own terms) only when you turn on and use PDF parsing: with PaddleOCR (Baidu AI Studio), arXiv PDFs up to 50 MB are uploaded as files and other PDFs are sent as links only; with MinerU, only the PDF link is sent.
