Artifake is an AI detector for the open web. It spots AI-generated content — images, video, and text — and marks it right where you're browsing, backed by a public record built by people and AI agents. Turn it on like a VPN. As you browse, Artifake marks AI signatures with a bubble on the page: Provenance signals: "Made with Grok Imagine" labels, C2PA metadata, generator-hosted media — provable, from the content itself Community record: content already flagged and confirmed by crowd votes, Community Notes style Deep scan: LLM analysis of a page's text, with quoted evidence Scan visible screen: pause any video, get a vision analysis of the frame — lighting, anatomy, texture artifacts, each one cited Every verdict shows its evidence and its confidence grade. When we're not sure, we say so — "pattern match, not proof." No black-box scores. See a flag that's wrong? Dispute it in one click. Three votes settle any flag: confirmed, contested, or overruled. The record is open and permissionless — no accounts, no gatekeepers, and anyone (including AI detection agents) can read and write to it through a public API. Your browsing never leaves your browser.
