Save and organize articles, read clean extracted text without tab clutter, generate grounded AI summaries, take rich notes, share research privately, and export complete literature reviews directly to styled Excel workbooks. No subscription fees, no Article Saver servers, no account required, and your research stays under your control. AI chat replies in the interface language selected in Article Saver. How to Use 1. Open an article or paper in Chrome and click the Article Saver icon to open the side panel. 2. Click Save current article to capture the article title, URL, metadata, and clean text. 3. Organize the article into a research collection and optionally add notes, highlights, or an AI summary. 4. Share articles, collections, or Research Packs directly with other Article Saver users. 5. Open received research using Open shared file, preview the incoming content, and add or merge it into your library. 6. Export your research to Excel whenever you need a structured literature-review matrix. Privacy & Transparency ⚬ 100% Local-First Library Your saved library, notes, highlights, chat history, sharing packages, and settings are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. ⚬ Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Article Saver does not operate an AI backend. When you use AI features, requests are sent directly from your browser to Google's Gemini API using your own API key. ⚬ No Article Saver Account or Cloud Backend Core saving, organization, import, export, and sharing do not require an Article Saver account or Article Saver-hosted server. ⚬ No Tracking of Shared Research Article Saver does not receive the contents of research packages or information about who you share them with. ⚬ Open Source Article Saver is licensed under the MIT License.
