ArchWidth for iTero is a workflow assistant for dental practices using iTero intraoral scanners. It adds a single "Send to ArchWidth" button on patient pages of the iTero scanner cloud — one click exports the scan and opens it in a built-in 3D viewer where you can measure arch widths, all inside your browser. No desktop app to install. WHAT IT DOES • Adds a "Send to ArchWidth" button next to the existing Export button on iTero patient pages (myitero.com scanner cloud). • One click exports the selected scan's STL (using the standard Open Shell / File per Arch / STL settings) and opens it in the ArchWidth viewer — a full 3D view that runs entirely in your browser. • Measure arch widths by dropping two pins on the model; drag pins to fine-tune. Pre-named measurement slots plus custom measurements. • Six view presets (occlusal, anterior, left/right, default), upper / lower / both toggles. • Export a screenshot (with the measurement labels, a patient header, and a measurements table baked in) or a CSV of all measurements. • Shows a live progress bar during export and surfaces iTero server issues (HTTP errors, timeouts, expired sessions) with clear "this is an iTero problem, try signing out and back in" guidance. REQUIREMENTS • An iTero scanner cloud account (myitero.com). • A license key — request one at smilewithdrphil@gmail.com. • A Chromium browser (Chrome/Edge). Nothing else to install. PRIVACY • The scan is exported using your own iTero session and rendered locally in the extension's viewer. Scan data is NOT transmitted to us or any third party. • The extension does not collect, transmit, or sell your patient data. • The license server (Google Apps Script) only ever sees your license key + a Chrome instance ID — never patient info, file contents, or browsing history.
