archiveLink
Overview
Click once to open the newest archive.today copy of the current page in the same tab.
Open an archived copy of the page you are viewing with one click. Click archiveLink in the Chrome toolbar to look up the current page on archive.today through its archive.is mirror. When an archived copy is available, the service opens its newest snapshot in the same tab. Use Chrome’s Back button to return to the original page. • One toolbar click, with no popup or account required. • Opens the newest available archived copy. • No analytics or stored browsing history. • Only accesses the current page URL when you click. The page URL, including query parameters but excluding its #fragment, is sent to archive.is to perform the lookup. archiveLink does not submit pages for archiving. If no snapshot exists, the archive service displays its response. Verification checks, availability, and loading times are controlled by archive.today. Works on HTTP and HTTPS websites. Chrome pages and local files are unsupported. archiveLink is an independent extension and is not affiliated with archive.today.
