Arc Browser Use - Unofficial
Overview
Connects local agents to Arc Browser tabs through native messaging.
Arc Browser Use is an unofficial local bridge for controlling Arc Browser from MCP-capable local agents. It lets a trusted local agent inspect and operate the user's normal Arc Browser session through an Arc-compatible Chromium extension, a native messaging host, and a local MCP server. Main capabilities: - Read tab titles, URLs, visible text, and selected DOM content. - Navigate tabs and open URLs. - Click, type, select options, and upload files at the user's request. - Capture screenshots and monitor downloads. - Search browser history when explicitly requested. - Read or write clipboard text when explicitly requested. - Handle JavaScript dialogs used by web pages. Arc Browser Use does not send browsing data to a developer-operated server. Browser data is processed locally between the extension, the native messaging host, the MCP server, and the local agent selected by the user. This project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Browser Company or Arc.
