Appsheet Translate: interface translator — English and 133 languages
Overview
Translates the AppSheet editor into 100+ languages. One button on the page, your data and apps stay untouched. Free.
Appsheet Translate turns the AppSheet interface into the language you actually work in. The extension adds one button to the page and translates the whole editor: menu items, setting names, field labels, hints and error texts. More than a hundred languages are available. Google translated only a part of AppSheet: the app list opens in the language of your account. The editor, where apps are actually built, stayed in English. That is where most of the time goes when English is not your first language. Settings are named with terms, errors arrive as long sentences, and hints explain the logic of the app. The extension removes that barrier. WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES Translates the editor into your language. The Data, Views, Actions, Behavior and Format Rules sections, settings tabs, column and type names, buttons and dialogs. The translation appears inside the interface and the layout does not fall apart. Translates errors and hints. AppSheet explains problems in long English sentences. In your own language the cause is visible at once and you do not spend time decoding the wording. Works with one click. The button sits in the bottom right corner of the page. Click it and the interface is translated. Click again and English comes back. The language is chosen in the widget settings and is remembered. Keeps up with the interface. AppSheet loads panels as you go. The extension watches the page and translates new sections as soon as they appear, with nothing to press again. Leaves your data alone. Only the interface is translated. Table and column names, app content, formulas and expressions stay as they are. The extension works only on www.appsheet.com and sends nothing about your apps anywhere else. HOW TO START 1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. 2. Open www.appsheet.com and sign in to your account. 3. Turn off the built-in Chrome translator for this page so that two translations do not fight. 4. Press the widget button in the bottom right corner. The language is changed in the settings next to the button. WHO IT IS FOR People who are learning AppSheet and working out how a View differs from a Slice, or an Action from a Behavior. People who build apps for clients and want to read errors in their own language. Teams where some members do not speak English but work in the editor. PRICE Free. No sign-up, no keys, no time limits.
