Apps Script Source Export

Export your Google Apps Script project's source code as a ZIP file.

Apps Script Source Export adds a "Download ZIP" button directly inside the Google Apps Script IDE sidebar. With one click, it exports all your project's source files (.gs, .html, .json) as a ZIP archive you can save locally. Why install it: Google Apps Script doesn't offer a native way to export your code outside Drive. This extension fills that gap — useful for backing up your project before risky changes, keeping code under version control (Git), or opening it in your favorite editor. How it works: The extension reads the source files already loaded in the Apps Script IDE page — it makes no network requests and requires no sign-in or OAuth access to your Google account. Your code never leaves your browser except as the ZIP file you choose to download. Permissions used: Only "downloads", needed to save the ZIP file to your computer.
