You're on a LinkedIn or Indeed job. Hit Scan this page before you reply. ApplySafe marks the phrases that match a public Canadian fraud warning. You'll see the highlight if someone asks for your SIN, wants an upfront fee, asks you to pay with a gift card or crypto, or tells you to deposit a cheque and send the rest on. A hard match comes back as Scam. Weaker signs come back as Risky. If nothing fires, you get Unclear. That doesn't mean the job is safe. The check runs on your computer. Your posting isn't uploaded.
