Overview

Applies to jobs for you — fills in and submits application forms from a side panel while you do something else.

applyNchill applies to jobs on your behalf. You queue the roles you want on the dashboard. This extension opens each one, works out which application system it is looking at, fills the form from the details you saved, attaches the right résumé, and submits — while you carry on doing something else. It opens as a panel down the side of the browser, not a popup, so it stays open while the agent works and you can watch every step it takes. WHAT IS IN THE PANEL • Run — start a run without leaving the page you are on. • Log — a live transcript: which portal, which section, what it attached. • Profile — the answers every application is filled in from, editable here at the moment a form asks for something you never entered. • Résumé — one document per level you apply at, because applying as a fresher and applying with experience are two different CVs. • Account — sign in once on this browser; the panel tells you which account it is asking for work as. IT WORKS OUT THE FORM FOR ITSELF Employers use a handful of different application systems, and each one lays out its form, paginates it and validates it differently. You never have to say which one a job uses: the extension recognises it when it opens the posting and drives that form the way it expects to be driven. Career sites that use no known system are handled by a generic reader that works from the form on the page. WHEN IT NEEDS YOU Employers write their own questions, and now and then one has no answer in your profile — a take-home preference, a niche certification, something only you can answer. Rather than guess, the agent stops and asks you that one question, then carries on from where it left off. This is a normal part of a run, not an error, and it is what lets the rest of the form be filled unattended. The ask reaches you in one of two ways, depending on where you actually are: • If you are in this Chrome profile, it appears in the tab you are looking at, over the application it is asking about — so you can see the question and the form it belongs to at the same time. • If you are somewhere else — another Chrome profile, another browser, or another application entirely — it opens as its own small window and waits for you there. Applications go out while you are working on other things, so an ask that only ever appeared inside one tab would simply be missed. Either way the run pauses rather than guessing, and nothing is submitted until the question is answered. WHAT YOU NEED An applyNchill account, and a Mistral API key — the extension does not ship one. You paste yours on the setup page and this extension picks it up; until you do, the deployment you are signed in to may lend you its own, which is shared and can run out. New accounts are approved by hand before they can queue work. Nothing goes out that you did not queue. The extension only ever works through jobs waiting in your own queue, and it applies as you, with the details you saved and the résumé you uploaded.
