AppliedToday — Job Application Helper is a review-first Chrome side panel for job applications. Open AppliedToday on the application page you choose, then choose Analyze. It reads visible questions in the active tab and prepares answers from a PDF, DOCX, or TXT résumé you open locally or a five-minute AppliedToday.com packet. Review each exact question and answer before you copy anything or select safe identity, contact, link, and separately verified career facts for one confirmed fill. AppliedToday changes only the approved empty fields that are still visible at fill time, keeps protected decisions manual, and provides a guarded two-minute undo. AppliedToday uses application-site-specific detection plus a conservative generic page-order scan. Detection results are merged in page order, and unknown visible controls remain available for review. AppliedToday: - runs locally with zero extension network requests; - reads PDF, DOCX, and TXT résumés on the device and never uploads them; - requires no extension login for local résumé review, cover-letter drafting, and copy controls; - reads only the active page after you choose Analyze; - previews a five-minute AppliedToday.com handoff or website profile update before saving it; - displays signed role-family recommendations and compensation provenance with their stated limitations for review; - saves only website profile fields the user explicitly approves and does not turn profile sync into application fill permission; - keeps V1, V2, pasted, unsigned, expired, or unverifiable handoffs copy-only; - enables reviewed fill only after a separate signed, five-minute capability bound to a direct exact-question V3 or V4 handoff; - can include verified current company, current title, relevant years, and one explicitly selected education record in the same reviewed safe-field batch; - keeps ambiguous, unselected, unverified, protected, custom-widget, and already-filled values manual; - fills only the specific empty safe fields you reviewed and explicitly confirmed, as one atomic batch bound to the exact visible page; - rolls back the full batch if a reviewed field becomes hidden or otherwise unsafe before mutation; - records reviewed prepare, Copy, Fill, Undo, and refusal events in versioned local-only application receipts; - never retains a restricted answer value in a receipt and never silently evicts receipt history when storage is full; - invalidates undo when you edit a filled value and otherwise offers guarded undo for two minutes; - keeps job-specific writing and cover letters individually reviewed; - keeps salary, availability, authorization, EEO, criminal-history, consent, signature, legal, assessment, and upload actions manual; - never clicks Apply or Submit, never navigates application steps, never uploads files, never handles CAPTCHA or MFA, and never applies to jobs for you.
