Overview

Your watchlist, your holdings and what's trending, with a one-minute daily recap in plain English.

Know what your stocks did today and what it means, in plain English, without leaving the tab you're on. Sifter lives in Chrome's side panel. Click the icon and you get a one-minute recap of your stocks, a sentence on each one, and an answer for any ticker you look up. No charts to decode, no jargon, no account needed. It's for people who own a few stocks or ETFs and want to stay on top of them without spending an hour on finance sites. If you've ever stared at a P/E ratio or a red number and thought "ok, but is that bad?", this is for you. ⚡ A ONE-MINUTE RECAP, EVERY DAY Open the panel and flip through a few cards: • How the market did today • How the stocks you follow did • Anything coming up, like a company you follow reporting results this week 📝 EVERY STOCK YOU FOLLOW, IN ONE SENTENCE Your watchlist shows today's price and move for each stock, plus a short line on what it's been doing, like "up quite a bit in the past few weeks" or "starting to dip after a jump." 🔎 LOOK UP ANY STOCK Search any US or Canadian (TSX) stock or ETF and Sifter tells you, in sentences: • What it's doing today • Which way it's been heading • Whether it's moved a lot lately, and you can tap "Why?" under any answer to see how 🔥 WHAT'S MOVING TODAY See the day's biggest movers, each with a sentence on what's going on. 🧭 WORKS WHEREVER YOU ARE IN CHROME • The Sifter icon shows how your stocks are doing today, so you can check without opening anything. • Want reminders? Enable notifications and Sifter tells you once each trading day how your stocks did. • See a ticker in an article or on Reddit? Highlight it, right-click, and choose "Look up in Sifter." 🔒 FREE AND PRIVATE • No account needed. Your watchlist stays in your browser. • Sifter can't see the websites you visit. The only site it talks to is checksifter.com. • Right-click lookup only sends the text you highlighted, and only when you ask. • If you'd like your watchlist on your phone or computer too, sign in with Google to sync it with checksifter.com. Install it, pin the icon to your toolbar, and add a few stocks you own. Tomorrow morning your recap will be waiting. More at https://checksifter.com
