API Requester
Overview
Postman-style HTTP client with browser cookie access and 9 languages.
A Chrome MV3 extension that works like a lightweight Postman living inside your browser — its biggest difference from a web-based client is that it reuses the session you are already logged into.Core capabilities Send real HTTP requests — GET / POST / PUT / PATCH / DELETE / HEAD / OPTIONS, issued from the extension's service worker, so requests to granted hosts are not blocked by CORS and automatically carry the browser's cookies for that domain. Ideal for debugging internal APIs without copying tokens by hand. Cookie inspector for the request domain — the response's Cookies tab lists every cookie for the current URL (name, value, domain, path, expiry, HttpOnly, Secure), and lets you delete or add them. HttpOnly cookies are visible here, which page-side JavaScript can never do. Full request builder — Params / Headers / Body / Auth as cards: body modes none, form-data, x-www-form-urlencoded, JSON, Text, XML, HTML; Basic and Bearer auth; a one-click Content-Type helper. cURL import — paste a curl ... command and it reconstructs method, URL, query, headers, cookies, -u auth and the body (raw / urlencoded / form-data). Environments — variables used as {{name}} in URL, params, headers and body, plus a Base URL so relative paths like /api/orders resolve against the active environment. Switch environments from the top bar. Collections & history — save requests into folders (⌘/Ctrl+S), rename, duplicate, delete; export/import JSON (Postman v2.1 exports are readable); the last 200 requests are kept as history and click-to-restore. Test cases — snapshot a request together with its response, then re-run and compare: status code plus a line-by-line body diff, with pass/fail badges on the list. Export/import cases as JSON. Response viewer — Pretty (formatted JSON, line numbers, syntax colours), Raw, Preview (sandboxed iframe for HTML, inline images), Headers, Cookies; copy, download, and graceful truncation for large bodies. Cancel in flight — the Send button turns into Cancel via AbortController. 9 UI languages — English (default), 简体中文, 繁體中文, Español, Français, 日本語, العربية (automatic RTL), Deutsch, 한국어. Light and dark themes, both covering the code surface. Optional restricted-header injection — Authorization / Cookie headers that Chrome strips from extension fetches can be injected at the network layer via declarativeNetRequest (off by default, in Settings). Privacy & setup — everything (requests, headers, tokens, cases) stays in chrome.storage.local on your machine; the extension makes no third-party calls. Pure static files, no dependencies, no build step. Requires Chrome 116+: chrome://extensions → Developer mode → Load unpacked → select request-ext/, then click the toolbar icon.
