Audio File Downloader lets you quickly find and save audio music files from any webpage or Podcast right from the toolbar. Key features: - One-click downloads from the toolbar popup: download a single audio file or select all music files for example on Listennotes or Uppbeat. - Smart badge counter shows how many audio files were detected on the current page. - Shows the file format such as mp3 or wav. - Shows the file size e.g. 4 MB - Recording of audio playing in the current tab e.g. Spotify as well as Suno - Record, pause, resume, and discard Make sure after installing to pin the extension to your toolbar: 1. Click the little puzzle extensions icon in Chrome. 2. Look for “Audio File Downloader” and click the pin icon next to it. 3. Click the toolbar icon on a website with audio to detect and download the music Does not work on all popular streaming sites as they use DRM and or encryption! (Nothing we can do about it) Important: You’re responsible for how you use this extension. Always check copyright permissions on each site before downloading. - - - What's new in 1.1 - Record tab saves a WebM recording of audio playing in the current tab. This is a new recording, not the original file, and it does not bypass DRM. - Recording continues after the popup closes. - Pause, resume, and discard. - A timer and level meter show whether the tab is producing sound. - The toolbar badge pulses REC while recording and shows PAUSE while paused. - If a file cannot be saved directly, the popup points you to Record tab.
