Apex Hub for NextGen Office: claim checks and auto-fill, report exports, ERA sync and decoding, and the Apex assistant.

Apex Hub NextGen Connector links NextGen Office to your practice's Apex Hub account, so billers can check claims, export reports and work remittances without copying anything between the two. CLAIM ASSIST Open a claim in NextGen and run Claim Assist from the toolbar or the side panel. • Validates every ICD-10 code for the date of service and fixes non-billable codes • Fills the rendering and servicing providers, fee schedule and pay-to from Apex Hub • Applies your practice's claim rules (modifiers, prices, place of service) and lists each change • Undo any change, or every change on the claim ERA DECODER Open a remittance in NextGen and choose Decode. • Every claim and service line: charges, allowed, adjustments, payments and patient share • CARC and RARC denial codes on each line • Send the ERA to Apex Hub in one click, so its payments and denials reach your AR queue ERA SYNC • New ERAs are sent to Apex Hub in the background while NextGen is open • An optional backfill brings in older ERAs, month by month, with live progress • It pauses while you are working on NextGen's ERA screen • Patient names, member IDs, account numbers and addresses are removed in the browser before anything is sent REPORT EXPORTS On NextGen reports, a card sets up the reports Apex Hub needs (AR Service Line, Transaction Ledger and month-end financials), exports them, checks the columns and totals, and saves each file under its Apex Hub name. APEX ASSISTANT Ask billing questions in the side panel: denial codes, payer rules, coding and appeals. It uses the same assistant and knowledge base as Apex Hub, and your chats are saved to your Apex Hub history. Requires an Apex Hub account and API key (Apex Hub → Settings → API Credentials). Your Apex Hub administrator decides which features each person has. Light and dark themes are included.
