Overview
A calm, minimal new tab: clock, focus, sticky notes, bookmarks, timer and beautiful themes. Private by default.
โจ ๐๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ turns every new tab into a calm, beautiful start - a clock, your focus for the day, and nothing you didn't ask for. ๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐'๐ ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ ๐ Clock - analogue or digital, four sizes, optional seconds and 24-hour mode, plus an optional second time zone under the clock ๐ฏ Focus - pin what matters today; unfinished focuses carry over to tomorrow ๐ Sticky notes - a corner notes board with folders, six colors, pin-to-top, drag to reorder, and checklists (type "- [ ] task" and tick items off) ๐ Bookmarks - quick-launch shortcuts with icons; press 1โ9 to open them. and place them where you like: a tidy corner panel, under the search bar, or a bottom shelf โฒ๏ธ Focus timer - a Pomodoro-style timer with configurable lengths, a gentle chime and an optional desktop notification ๐ Search - uses whatever default search engine you chose in Chrome ๐ฌ A daily quote โ add your own favourites to the rotation โ and an optional greeting with your name ๐ ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ 10 themes, from Midnight to E-Ink ๐ค 6 font pairings and a custom accent colour ๐ผ๏ธ Backgrounds: theme gradients, 14 hand-drawn illustrated scenes, curated photography, a fresh photo every day, or your own image ๐๏ธ Show or hide every single element - down to a page with nothing but a clock โจ๏ธ Keyboard-first: "/" focuses search, 1โ9 launch bookmarks, n/b toggle the notes and bookmarks panels, Esc closes panels ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ฎ๐๐น๐ Your notes, settings and images live in your browser. There are no accounts, no analytics and no tracking, and nothing is ever sent to us. If you turn on sync, only your settings (never notes or images) travel through your own Chrome account. Export/Import gives you a full JSON backup anytime. ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐๐ฒ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ ๐ฏ๐ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป No frameworks, no background processes - just a fast, quiet page. Fonts are bundled, so typography works even offline. ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ ๐๐ผ ๐ธ๐ป๐ผ๐ Chrome itself shows a small footer bar at the bottom of new-tab pages provided by extensions (Chrome 138+). That bar is part of the browser, not Aperture - to hide it, right-click the footer and choose "Hide footer on New Tab page".
