Aperture Core is a local-only personal website library and quick launcher for people who frequently use multiple intranet systems, admin tools, or work websites. Save a name, URL, category, purpose, aliases, tags, access requirements, and notes for each website. Open a new tab to view your personal home page, or invoke the compact Spotlight-style launcher from any webpage, move with the arrow keys, and press Enter to open a result. Key features: - Search Chinese text, full Pinyin, Pinyin initials, word initials, and conservative fuzzy matches; - Match titles, URLs, categories, purposes, aliases, tags, access requirements, and notes; - Highlight matches and show a relevant snippet around the matched text; - Organize websites by category and preserve bookmark folder hierarchy during import; - Optionally search the titles and URLs of open tabs, then switch directly to the selected tab; - Click the extension icon or context menu to save the active page with its title, URL, and favicon; - Optionally import Chrome bookmarks or Edge favorites; - Simplified Chinese, English, and Hungarian interfaces; - Light, dark, and system themes; - Local import and export backup. Privacy by design: Website records and settings stay in local browser storage. The extension has no application server, cloud account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or telemetry. It does not read browsing history, cookies, passwords, downloads, or page content.
