Auto-clicks Record in Google Meet meetings hosted by Apacta employees, for internal transcription via meet.shub.dk.
Apacta Meet Transcribe is an internal Apacta extension that automatically starts recording in Google Meet meetings where you are the host. WHAT IT DOES • Detects when you join a Meet meeting • Clicks "Start Recording" automatically after 5 seconds • Shows a banner in the meeting: "Apacta is recording this meeting for internal transcription" WHERE THE TRANSCRIPT GOES • Recording is saved to your personal Google Drive (Meet Recordings folder) • Apacta's internal transcribe pipeline picks it up and creates a Danish/English transcript with speaker labels and timestamps • You get a Slack DM when the transcript is ready • Transcripts are viewable at meet.shub.dk and accessible only to you and Apacta admins PRIVACY / GDPR • Meet's standard red recording indicator is shown to all participants • Our banner makes it doubly clear that Apacta is recording • Per-meeting opt-out via the Apacta toolbar icon • External participants are informed via Meet's standard notification LIMITATION Only the host can start recording. If you join a meeting created by someone else, recording will not start automatically. This extension is Apacta-internal and requires an apacta.com Workspace account.
