AOTY Release Bridge

Collect release details from Bandcamp and Spotify, then search, check duplicates, and fill the release form on AOTY.

AOTY Release Bridge helps Album of the Year contributors add releases from Bandcamp and Spotify with less manual copying. On a supported Bandcamp or Spotify album page, the extension places an “Add Release” button next to the album title. Clicking it opens AOTY and automatically: • Searches for the artist • Checks for an existing release with the same title • Fills the release title, date, type, and source URL • Fills the new-artist form when an artist is not yet listed When multiple artists share the same name, you select the correct one. All information remains available for review and correction before submission. The extension never creates an artist or submits a release automatically. Install AOTY Release Bridge to save time, reduce typing errors, and avoid accidentally adding duplicate releases. Privacy: the extension reads release information only after you click “Add Release.” Temporary drafts are stored locally on your device and are never sent to the developer. The extension contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking. An AOTY account with permission to add releases is required. Bandcamp and Spotify album pages are supported.
