SameFrame
Overview
Watch YouTube together without sharing your screen.
Watch YouTube with someone, wherever they are. Create a room, send an invite, and enjoy the video in your own browsers. SameFrame keeps playback in sync while you use YouTube’s familiar controls. - Invite friends with a link or room code. - Play, pause, seek, change speed, and choose videos together. - Let everyone control playback, or leave it to the host. - Wait together during detected ads, then return to the shared playback state. SameFrame does not block or skip ads. - Reconnect to the room’s current video and playback state after a connection interruption. Each person needs SameFrame in desktop Chrome and their own access to the video. Rooms are temporary. Your display name is visible to others in the room. If the browser blocks automatic playback, click the playback prompt to continue. Designed for standard YouTube videos. Shorts, live streams, mobile browsers, and some ads or playback interruptions are not supported. SameFrame does not bypass account, regional, subscription, or content restrictions. SameFrame is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
