Keep your favorite web apps beside the page you are browsing. SideDock adds a compact app rail to the left or right edge of ordinary web pages. Open a saved app in a resizable sidebar while the main page makes room beside it. Keep notes, reference tools, and other compatible web apps within reach as you browse. • Add your own website shortcuts and edit or remove them at any time. • Click an app to expand it; click it again or use the collapse button to return to the compact rail. • Switch between opened apps without discarding their state on the current page. • Drag the sidebar edge to resize it, or focus the edge and use the arrow keys. • Choose a left or right sidebar and keep your preferred width across tabs. • Use the extension toolbar button to open the sidebar, hide it, or restore it. • Keep your saved apps and preferences locally in your browser, without a SideDock account. Some websites block embedding or require sign-in in a normal tab. Optional iframe compatibility can help with certain sites after you grant access to that site. It relaxes that site's frame and content-security response headers only for matching app frames opened by SideDock. It does not guarantee that a site's login or verification flow will work. SideDock works on regular HTTP and HTTPS web pages. Chrome's internal pages, the Chrome Web Store, and other protected pages do not allow the page sidebar. Open apps retain their state while switching or collapsing within the current page; navigating or reloading the browsing page starts fresh app frames. SideDock includes no advertising, analytics, or developer-operated data collection service. Embedded websites connect directly to their own services and are governed by their own privacy policies. SideDock is independent of the websites you choose to open.
