A floating Select button appears. Click it, and a side panel lists every message with a checkbox. Tick what you want, or use the All, You, Assistant and None filters to do it in one click. Choose a format and hit Export. The file lands in your downloads. PDF asks how you want it laid out first. CHOOSE EXACTLY WHAT YOU EXPORT — FREE Per-message selection is included on every plan, including the free one. Keep the three answers that were useful and drop the six false starts. Export only your own prompts to build a reusable prompt library, or export only the assistant's replies to hand a colleague the conclusions without the thinking out loud. WHICH FILE YOU GET PDF is what most people come for. It is paginated and print-ready, and before it exports you can set the file name, the document title, the page size and orientation, a light or dark theme, and whether timestamps, the model name and page numbers appear. If you would rather have something you can keep editing, Markdown drops into a notes app with the headings and code blocks intact, and plain text is there as a universal fallback for when formatting does not matter. For work that carries on after the export, JSON preserves the structure of the conversation for scripts and pipelines, and CSV opens in a spreadsheet when you want to sort or tag messages. There is no export server, so your conversation is never transmitted anywhere, never stored and never logged. No conversation content leaves your device, for any format, PDF included. Signing in is optional and only needed for Pro — it sends your email address and your subscription status, and each PDF export adds a dated, time-stamped record against your account so the daily limit can be counted, but never the file names or their contents, and nothing from the conversation itself.
