AO3 Tag Highlighter helps Archive of Our Own readers scan work listings faster by applying your own tag rules directly on AO3 pages. Create rules for relationship, character, or additional tags, then choose how matching works should appear: • Highlight tags you care about • Show warning indicators for sensitive tags • Collapse works that match collapse rules • Add rules quickly from AO3 tags with the hover quick-add button • Manage all rules from the extension options page • Use exact, contains, or wildcard matching • Customize highlight and warning tag colors Everything is local to your browser. Rules and settings are saved with chrome.storage.local. The extension does not require an account, does not use cloud sync, does not run analytics, and does not send your AO3 browsing data to a server. Works on desktop Chrome for archiveofourown.org.
