Anything Save

)Overview
Save the post you are looking at to a personal collection in one click. Your collection stays in your own browser.
Anything Save puts a save button exactly where you already are — in the action bar of the post you are looking at. One click, and it is in your collection. No account to create, no server to trust, no telemetry. Everything stays in your own browser. WHY IT EXISTS Every site already has a bookmark button of its own, and every one of them is a dead end. What you save on a site stays inside that site. Nothing is searchable across them, nothing can be filed together, and the moment an app changes its mind — or locks you out — the list goes with it. Anything Save gives you one collection that spans the sites you actually use, stored on your own machine, in a format you can export whenever you like. WHERE IT WORKS The save button appears on the video and social sites this extension declares in its manifest — Chrome names every one of them on the install prompt and on the extension's permissions page. It handles ordinary posts as well as short-form video and reels. Each site is declared individually rather than by wildcard, so the extension cannot run anywhere outside that list. HOW IT WORKS Open a post on one of those sites and you will find an "Anything Save" button sitting in that site's own action bar, next to Like and Share. Scrolling a feed? Every post gets its own button. Click it and the post is filed — title, author, thumbnail, and a link back to the original. Then open the dashboard to find it again. WHAT YOU GET • One-click save — the button lives in the page's native action bar, so there is nothing to open and nothing to paste. • A real dashboard — search across titles, authors, and folders; filter by platform; switch between a masonry grid and a compact list; sort the way you think. • Folders — organise by hand. New saves land in the Inbox. Deleting a folder returns its items to the Inbox instead of throwing them away. • Preview in place — play a saved video or read a saved post inside the dashboard using the platform's own official embed, or jump straight to the original. • No accidental duplicates — the same post cannot be saved twice. • Delete with undo — a five-second window to change your mind. • Local backup — export the whole collection to a JSON file and import it back later, merging into what is there or replacing it outright. • Storage warning — the dashboard tells you when your browser's local storage is filling up, before anything is at risk. • Light and dark — follows your system by default, or pick one and stay there. PRIVACY, PLAINLY Anything Save has no backend. There is nothing to sign up for, because there is nowhere to sign up to. • No analytics, no tracking, no crash reporting. • No account, no email address, no personal information. • Your collection is never transmitted anywhere. It lives in your browser's local storage and leaves only when you export it yourself. • The extension reads a page only on the sites it declares in its permissions, and only the post you explicitly click Save on. It does not read your browsing history, your bookmarks, or your other tabs. • Nothing is sold or shared with anyone. There is no third party involved. Thumbnails are stored as links, not copies, so your collection stays small. One thing worth knowing: when you preview a saved item, the platform's own embed loads in a frame — the same as visiting the post directly — and that platform may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. The extension sends nothing of its own along with it. Full privacy policy: https://ystudio.my.id/anything-save/privacy-policy ABOUT PERMISSIONS The site permissions exist so the save button can appear inside each site's action bar and read the details of the post you choose to save. Each site is listed individually rather than by wildcard, so the extension has no access to anything outside that list. OPEN SOURCE Anything Save is MIT licensed and the full source is public.
